The particular trailing arm has presented a challenge to the independent aftermarket due to the fact that a failure of the rear trailing arm bushes has meant that the complete trailing arm has to be replaced. Not only has this resulted in the job being very expensive to carry out, but the whole arm had to be discarded even though it was only the bush that was worn. To add insult to injury the assembly is only available from the franchised dealer. ABOUT THE TOOL
The tool is designed specifically to remove and fit the rear trailing arm front suspension bush with the arm on the vehicle without the need to:
• Disconnect or open any brake pipes so no brake bleeding involved
• Remove the wheels
• Remove the hub from the arm or disturb the calipers
Using the bush tool could save upto 3 hours labour for every vehicle done!
