It includes a ZF transmission oil pan with integrated filter, all required bolts and drain plug, and 7 litres of ZF LifeguardFluid 8 – the exact ATF specified for the 8HP-series transmission family.
ZF LifeguardFluid 8 is specially formulated to deliver precise clutch engagement, thermal stability, and long-term durability under high-stress driving. It maintains optimal friction coefficients, prevents seal degradation, and ensures seamless shift performance throughout the service life. Using any fluid other than the OE ZF blend risks damaging the transmission’s internal components.
This kit is suitable for vehicles fitted with ZF 8-speed automatic transmissions including 8HP45, 8HP50, 8HP51, 8HP70, 8HP75 and their variants (e.g. X, Z, HIS, L, GA8HP). These gearboxes are widely used across a variety of premium brands including BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover, Maserati, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, and IVECO.
